Rebecca Dart, artist and animator extraordinaire, has bestowed upon me a gift of portraiture as thanks for posing as a
Battle Kitten! I can't even begin to describe my elation at receiving this, and the shoot itself, in which I donned a bikini and sword at the most (and bikini bottoms at the least!), was encouraging and empowering! As someone who has earned a few extra pounds over the last few years, this brief foray into full-blown body acceptance has made me drunk on confidence, and I am deeply appreciative to Rebecca for giving me the opportunity to heave around plastic weapons while half-naked in her living room.
